Saif Al Mazrouei is the CEO of the Ports Cluster at AD Ports Group. In his role he oversees more than 25 ports and terminals in the world. He is responsible for spearheading all port functions and operations including organisation, direction, and coordination.
With over twenty years of experience in ports and across shipping and retail industries, Al Mazrouei is recognised for his ability to effectively manage all container terminal operations, in terms of planning, technical engineering and HSE. He formerly held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Khalifa Port Container Terminal leading the successful operations of the organisation.
Al Mazrouei joined Abu Dhabi Terminal in 2012 as Execution Manager for the day-to-day operations at the container terminal. Previously he served as a Board Director and Community Relations and Communications Director, at Al Habtoor Group. Prior to these appointments, he handled various roles at the Union Cooperative Society and DP World. In 2018, the Singaporean Foreign Affairs Ministry honored him as one of the leaders of global port operations, and was invited to attend the 8th Annual Naval Leaders Program in Singapore.

Terje Neraas leads Business Development at International Maritime Industries (IMI), the Kingdom’s new maritime endeavor, which will be the largest shipyard in the MENA region. Mr Neraas’ mandate is to support the commercial growth of IMI, as it becomes operational as a key driver in Saudi Arabia’s maritime efforts, as defined in Vision 2030. He will share some of his knowledge, experience and insights about what IMI means to the Kingdom and the wider regional and global maritime industry. Mr Neraas holds a BSc in Naval Architecture from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and has more than 35 years of maritime experience. He has worked in the ship- and rig-building, shipowner and rig design sectors, and has held senior leadership and CEO roles in Europe and Asia. He also has served on numerous boards of directors for leading shipyards and service companies. In addition to his role at IMI, Mr Neraas also is currently a board member of the National Shipbuilding Industry Company (NSIC), a joint venture between IMI and Zamil Group, which is focused on newbuilding and maintenance and repair of Offshore Service Vessels.

Capt. Anwar has a successful and versatile career within the maritime industry spread across a period over two and a half decades.
Proficient in developing policies, upholding service standards, planning & implementing effective control measures for safe and efficient operation, project management, auditing, risk management, compliance, internal controls, crisis management, business continuity, incident investigation, OCIMF TMSA/SIRE marine vetting.
Capt. Anwar started his career at sea in 1997 part of Saudi Aramco’s College Degree Program for non-employees (CDPNE) and qualified as OOW in 2002. He joined Vela International Marine Ltd sailing on ULCC, VLCC and product tankers until late 2014.
In early 2015, he joined Aramco Trading Company (ATC), the trading arm of Saudi Aramco and the lead premier trading company within the middle east establishing the Marine Quality Assurance department.
In January 2020, Capt. Anwar returned to Bahri Ship Management as company DPA and heading the HSEQ department. Finally, he was appointed as Bahri Vice President of Sustainability & GRC effectively from 1st of September 2024.
Capt. Anwar graduated from Warsash Maritime Academy. A certified UK Master Mariner and holding a degree in Marine Operation from Southampton Solent University.
He is an approved certificate of competency oral examiner for merchant marine deck officers for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Transport General Authority, assessing and qualifying young Saudis starting their career at sea. Ali Shehab is a maritime professional actively serving the maritime industry since the past 38 years. He is an ex seagoing Marine Chief Engineer who started his carrier in the 1985 at South Tyneside College (UK) as marine engineer cadet with Kuwait Oil Tanker Company the National Maritime Transportation arm of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), and to become the company Acting CEO in 2018 and after 32 years of service. During the said period, he served in various managerial positions of the Company, including 7+ years as Deputy Chief Executive Officer Fleet Operations where he oversaw KOTC’s Oil Tanker Fleet Operations, Marine Agency, and the main Gas Filling Branches that supply domestic and industrial LPG to the State of Kuwait. In Feb 2021, he completed almost 36 years of service with Kuwait oil Tanker Company, after which he retired from that position and the company.

He has over 29 years of successful experience in oil and gas and shipping. He started his career as a deck cadet with National Gas Shipping Company Ltd (NGSCO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADNOC in 1996, and rose to become the first UAE National Master on an LNG carrier in 2008.
Captain Al Ali was the Senior Vice President Ship Management at ADNOC Logistics and Services (L&S) since 2013. A marine engineer and degree in engineering by background, the ALBWARDY DAMEN Managing Director has had a varied career including spells working for shipping lines, and at power plants. The majority of his career he spent with tug and off shore company Svitzer as Chief Operating Officer. Clearly as happy in coveralls and a hard hat as he is in a tailored suit. He has been 15 years in the UAE and the Dane took over the helm at ALBWARDY DAMEN in January 2013.

Spyridon Lalaounis heads the New Build Department at Bahri. He is a Chartered Engineer in the UK and EU Engineering Councils and holds a Fellowship with the Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA). With 20+ years of professional experience, Spyridon is responsible for all new construction project within Bahri Group. Under his leadership, his team has successfully delivered 40% of Bahri’s total fleet – this includes 11 - VLCCs, 10 - 55K Chemical Carriers, 9 - 82K Bulk Carriers and 6 Multi-purpose Ro-Con Vessels. Currently, Spyridon is concentrating on new technologies and alternative fuels that can be implemented in future new build vessels or can be retrofitted in Bahri’s existing fleet.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Naval Architecture and Small Craft Engineering and two Masters of Science (MSc) degrees - Marine Engineering and Business Information Technology Systems. Prior joining Bahri in 2011, he has held several senior positions in leading ship organizations such as Teekay Shipping Corporation and Anglo-Eastern Group, successfully completing various projects in Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Spyridon is Member of several technical committees including ABS, DNV and LR Middle East Technical Committees.

This acquisition made DSV one of the world's top three freight forwarders.
