  • Introduction to the heavy lift sector, heavy lift fundamental / operations
  • Using heavy lift equipment (Cranes / Jack-up’s / Push-up’s / Strandjacks / Gantries)
  • Investigation and preparation of the infrastructure
  • Heavy lift equipment selection, engineering and preparation (Workshop for thumb rules and essential calculations)
  • Awareness of safety, rules, regulations and legislation
  • Heavy lift case studies, potential failure causes, innovations and cost control

  • Principles of transportation equipment

  • Principles of trailer capacity, tractive effort, hydraulic grouping, cargo stability, ground bearing, lashing (Workshop for thumb rules and essential calculations)
  • Work-flow in the loading process of heavy lift cargo
  • Heavy transportation case studies, potential failure causes, innovations and cost control
